Science College IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Science College, Kokrajhar was established in 2009 with the vision of promoting excellence in science education and research and of nurturing a culture of continuous quality improvement within the institution. Since its inception, the IQAC has been functioning as a proactive agency dedicated to strengthening academic and administrative standards through planned and systematic efforts.

The college was assessed by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2016 and was accredited with a ‘B’ grade in Cycle-1. As a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure, the IQAC has remained an integral part of the institutional framework, working consistently toward conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in all spheres of college functioning. We are proud that in 2025 the college was reaccredited with a ‘B’ grade in Cycle-2, reflecting our sustained commitment to quality enhancement.

The IQAC regularly undertakes self-assessment of teaching–learning processes and academic and administrative practices and continuously follows up on infrastructural and learning resources to ensure adequate, suitable, and upgraded facilities that create a supportive and enabling environment for teaching, learning, and research.

Through documentation, reporting, and analysis of institutional activities, the IQAC monitors progress and promotes best practices across departments and units. The IQAC team remains committed to serving as a vital driver of quality assurance and continuous improvement in every aspect of the college.
