Admission Process

The application form for admission

• Prescribed application form with prospectus is available for procurement from College counter on payment of Rs. 500/-
• The payment can be made on cash or Digital method at the Science College cash counter and the counter remains open from 9.00 AM. To 5.00 PM. on working days.
• Dully filled application form must be submitted to the College office on or before the last date as notified by the College.
• For Honours course the student must take counselling before submission of form for admission.

Documents to be attached with the application form

• Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination.
• Pass certificate as well as Character Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
• Relevant caste certificate from concern authority.
• Two copies of the passport size photograph.
• Student passing the qualifying examination earlier to the current year must submit a gap certificate testifying their activities during last year (s).

Eligibility Criteria :

M.Sc.

• Must have Major with 50% in B.Sc. level.

B.Sc. (Major)

• Must obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate and in the concern subject in 10+2 (Sc.) examination.

B.Sc. (General)

• Must have 45% average marks in HS (Sc.) as well as passed in the subject of combination.

B.Sc. (IT)

• Must have 45% is aggregate in H.S. (Sc.) or XII with passed in physics and Mathematics.

H.S. (Sc.)

• Must have secured at least 60% in Matric or equivalent Examination.

Selection Procedure
From a recognized Board/ Council/ University.

• The selection of students for admission is strictly on merit basis.
• For Honours course the selection will be done by the concern department conducting entrance test or other rule as fixed by the department.
• Provision of reservation for SC/ST / OBC/ Differently able candidates as per Govt. norms and management rule.

Reservation of seats in special category

Science College, Kokrajhar follow the seat reservation policy for students of different categories as per Govt. norms.

At the time of admission, students are required to produce all the original documents from HSLC/10th examination onward for verification.
In case there is no candidate satisfying the above criteria the seats will be filled up as per the decision admission committee. The decision of Admission Committee is final in case any dispute.

H.S. 1st year              : Rs.    6,000.00
H.S. 2nd year            : Rs.    6,500.00
B.Sc. 1st Semester    : Rs.     6,900.00   (Honours)
                                   : Rs.     6,600.00   (Regular)
B.Sc.-IT Semester   :  Rs.  11,000.00   (Per Semester)
BPT                         :  Rs.  40,000.00   (1st Instalment)
                                   Rs.  39,000.00   (2nd Instalment)

Registration

The Registration and Enrolment fees are as per G.U./B.U. and AHSEC direction and rules.
